My Maths Test

Today I did a Maths test with Mrs Manuyag.
I learned: 

• I am just below for adding and subtraction.
• I am below in my times tables. 
• I am just below in my fractions. 

My goal is now going to practice and learn all of my times tables off by heart!

 

Learning About Perimeters

Today at school our class went out onto the courts to learn about perimeters. We learned how to work out the perimeter of a rectangle and a square. We also learned how to use stage four, stage five and six strategies. The best part was when we got to do the work outside.

A Storm In The Night

The Rise of The Gas

Goal : With this experiment we are learning how to fill a balloon with gas from a pepsi bottle.

Materials and Ingredients :

• Pepsi or coke
• and a balloon

Steps in order:

Step One :

Open the Pepsi bottle.

Step Two :

Put the balloon over the top of the bottle.

Step Three :

Keep checking on the balloon every ten minutes.

Step Four :

Look at the balloon and see what has happened so far.

Conclusion :

When we put the balloon on the bottle of Pepsi the which is ( Carbon Dioxide) escaped into the balloon and it inflated a little bit but when we had shaken it... It went up a lot.
